christened:-
Elizabeth Webb
born 15th October 1855, was christened on 4th
November 1855.
Walter James Webb
was born on 11th July 1861 and christened one month later on 11th
August 1861.
The 1861 Census
was taken just before Walter James Webb was born. James Webb his wife Edith and
daughter Elizabeth were still at 75 Brick Lane.

By the time the
1881 Census was taken James Webb appears to have given up the toy seller and
taken up as a general shopkeeper. They were still at 16 Central Street, St Lukes.

could be found in the 1891 Census. Therefore they had probably died. I have located
two possible entries which may account for their deaths thus:-

Edith Webb - Mar Quarter 1886 aged 68 Holborn 1b 685
James’s children
still lived locally in 1891.
