William Redington was born about 1860 in Hoxton, Middlesex
(record not found) the son of John Redington and his wife Eliza.
On the 1861 Census he appears at 208 Hoxton Old Town,
which was just a stones throw away from the Britannia Theatre, or the “Old
Brit” as it was commonly known.
